Drow

Drow or Draugh (Barrowelf) Draugh are the half-living remains of elves improperly laid to rest. Their graves reached by tendrils of the sepulchral energies of the Shadowfel, they rise from their crypts and barrows with only a spectral remembrance of their past life. Their bodies infused with shadow, they tend towards dark pigmentations of deep grays and blacks, or occasionally a ghastly white. They may otherwise look much as they did at burial, but depending on their state of decay at the point of reanimation they may also give the appearance of necrosis, rot, or unhealed wounds. The minds of Draugh are enveloped in what is called “death haze”, preventing much self-awareness or thought beyond an urge to kill. Rumors exist of Draugh cities, but most wander on their own or in bands. The few that do gain enough presence of mind enough to settle down find themselves welcome in Revenant cities, but seldom anywhere else. A Draugh player must have pushed through their death haze and gained awareness, though they may still be struggling with it at the edge of their consciousness. Recommended classes are Striker roles (Ranger, Rogue, Warlock, Assassin, or Sorcerer) or a Swordmage Defender. I play Draugh with a sharp German accent.
